My name is Ben Troyer and I am a Cincinnati based guitarist and composer. I am currently a senior at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music. I play primarily duo gigs around town and play shows with my own band called “The Ben Troyer Group.” If you want to hear some of my music you can check out our album “The Old Days” on Spotify or Apple Music! I primarily specialize in guitar but I have also spent time learning the piano, bass, banjo, saxophone, and the drums. My fascination with music is much deeper than the guitar itself, though that is the instrument I have chosen to dedicate my life to. What I hope to do is to inspire people with the same passion that I have come to find in music. Learning the guitar may be difficult but that is what makes it such a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Whether you want to learn music on a deeper level, or just learn a few chords, I am exited and can’t wait to get started!
