The 2004 Squier Affinity Stratocaster (often made in China/Indonesia, starting with serial prefix IC or CY) features a thin, lightweight Alder or Agathis body, a 25.5" scale maple neck with a "C" shape, and a 9.5"-radius rosewood or maple fretboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets. It commonly has an SSS configuration with 3 ceramic single-coil pickups, a 5-way switch, and a 6-saddle synchronous tremolo bridge.
