The 2019 PRS S2 Custom 24 is an American-made, gig-ready guitar that streamlines the classic Core Custom 24 design. It features a comfortable asymmetric bevel-cut maple top on a mahogany back, a 25-inch scale length, a Pattern Thin mahogany neck, a 24-fret rosewood fretboard, and versatile 85/15 "S" pickups.

The 85/15 "S" pickups deliver outstanding clarity with an extended high and low-end frequency range. By utilizing the push-pull tone control, you can split the humbuckers to access bright, glassy single-coil tones. This makes the instrument incredibly versatile, allowing you to easily jump from high-gain rock to sparkly, pristine cleans.

Like flagship Custom 24 models, the 2019 S2 Custom 24 utilizes a classic combination of a resonant mahogany back and a visually striking figured maple top. Together, these woods deliver a perfect blend of rich, warm lows with crisp, bright high-end "bite" that allows your chords and solos to cut through a mix perfectly.

Keeping your guitar in tune through heavy tremolo use is completely effortless thanks to the PRS-patented molded tremolo bridge and low-mass locking tuners. The locking mechanism securely grips the strings, making string changes incredibly fast and guaranteeing that your intonation stays rock-solid, even during aggressive dive-bombs.
