Custom #28: C24ce B4028 – Grand Auditorium, Urban Ash/Urban Ash

: Crafted with solid Urban Ash top, back and sides, this custom Grand Auditorium features a distinct tone profile and dramatic Florentine cutaway. Sourced from trees in need of removal from Southern California municipal areas, Urban Ash yields a focused, fundamental-strong voice, producing clean notes mostly free of ringing overtones. The four-piece back with a Simons wedge configuration, along with the sides, top and neck, are dressed in a rich red-hued edgeburst stain that highlights the grain of this hand-selected Urban Ash set. A single-ring rosette and Capstone fretboard inlays in mother of pearl and bloodwood headline the appointment package, which also includes dark-stained bone bridge pins with red Australian opal dots, smoked nickel tuners, ebony binding, and black and white purfling for the top, rosette and soundhole. The guitar is finished with a full-body gloss. Voiced with V-Class bracing and equipped with ES2 electronics and a TaylorSense guitar health monitor, this custom build ships in a brown deluxe hardshell case.
