Description
This is a Tenor Banjo that was made in the USA some time before World War 2. This has a thick curly maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator. The resonator has an interesting way to attach to the shell which is some kind of friction pads. The resonator just pops on and off which I’ve never seen and is pretty cool!! The hardware is nickel and this has a tone hoop which is original. The fretboard is ebony with dots. The banjo has a hyde head and white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. This also includes a vintage hardshell case.
Condition:
This is in good shape with some normal wear for a 100 year old banjo. The banjo also includes a vintage hardshell case.
This is a really cool banjo that is made with some great materials and has some nice features. This will give you the Pre War classic tone on a tenor and is also an attractive piece.
