Small Diaphragm Condenser Microphone Classic
Warm Audio presents the WA-84-C, a vintage-style small diaphragm condenser microphone for a wide range of applications, including guitar, bass, drum, piano, string and brass recording. The cardioid studio microphone features a Class A signal path, CineMag transformers, Fairchild transistors, and Wima capacitors - all high-quality, matched components that deliver a unique sound. Included in delivery and packed in a transport case are microphone spider, pop protection and a microphone holder.
Individual capsule
The WA-84 features a vintage-style capsule designed specifically for warm audio that emulates classic components and design techniques. It is carefully manufactured by an Australian manufacturer of capsules and accurately reproduces the legendary technical data. It is one of the most important components for the sound of the modern WA-84 classic.
CineMag transformer
The small diaphragm condenser microphone owes its "creamy-warm" sound to the CineMag transformer, manufactured in the USA and the perfect complement to the capsule.
Capacitors and circuit design
The outstanding sound quality is also made possible by the full Class A circuit design, the Fairchild FET and the Wima, polystyrene and tantalum through capacitors used throughout the circuit.
